For Punjab, Ravi Bopara was the scorrer with 77 off 50 balls.

Sehwag's Quick Fire 75 Helps Delhi To Second Win
A blazzing 75 off only 34 balls by Virender Sehwag helped Delhi Daredevils to their second win in the tournament. Delhi defeated Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in one sided encounter outplaying Rajsthan in every aspect of the game. Sehwag muscled the fastest IPL half century and showed no respect for any bowler. Rajsthan scored 141/6 in their 20 overs and Delhi surpassed the total in 17.1 overs with six wickets in hand. This win places Delhi Daredevils on the top of the points table.

After a dissapointing defeat in theor first match. Deccan Cgargers were all gerade up in their second tie against Chennai Super Kings. All the big hitters of Deccan Chargers took the Chennai bowling attack hand to hand and registerd a stiff target of 191 for the Chennai Super Kings. Veteran Sri Lankan paceman Chaminda Vaas made the difference at Deccan bowling and restricted Chennai Super Kings to 151/9. Deccan Chargers got back to winning ways with a 31 run victory over CSK.

The 'korbo lorbo jitbo re' boys seemed to be on a role as they registered their second consecutive win in DLF IPL 2010. Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challangers in a one sided game at the Eden Gardens. Winners of IPL 1 were resrticted to a feeble 112 by some excellent bowling from Knight Riders and a flurry of stupid shots by Challengers batsman. As a result, the RCB got to 112 which was surely a low total to defend. A fast sparkling half century from Kolkata opener Manoj Tiwary added to the cause and the Knoght Riders cruised to the top slot in IPL 2010 with a convincing victory over RCB.

Daredevils Win a Close Battle
Delhi Daredevils clinched a close encounter with Kings XI Punjab in a thrilling match at the PCA stadium Mohali. Kings XI scored 142/9 and the Daredevils achieved the total with five wickets remaining and 1 ball to spare. Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir played a responsible knock of 72 runs in 54 balls to help his team kick off on the points table. Hope the big guns of Daredevils will fire in the next game.

The dynamite of Rajasthan Royals made a devastating explosion in its first match against the Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. Yusuf Pathan slammed the fastest centuries in IPL but the innings coul not help his team get to the mammath total of 212 by Mumbai Inidans. Pathan completed the century in 37 balls with some monstrous hits over the boundary line. But rest of Rajasthan Royals were not equal to the task and were limited to 208 in their 20 over slot. A narrow escape for the Mumbai Indians.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the opening match of DLF IPL 2010. Sourav led Knight Riders defeated yhe defending champions Deccan Chargesr in a close encounter which went down to the wire till the last ball. Kolkata defended their total of 161 in an exceptional manner against a formidable battibfg line up of Deccan Chargers scoring a 11 run victory. Shahrukh owned Riders recovered very well after he initial damage done by the Deccan bowlers and registered a respectable total of 161.
